Surgical hurt is common in daily life, such as contusion, knife injuries, burns and so on. Here is some points for treatment.
1. For soft tissue sprain and contusion, a cold compress is able to alleviate bleeding, swelling and pain. A hot compress will promote the absorption of congestion 1-2 days later, that improves the wound healing. At the same time, a plaster for external use can also help to ease symptoms.
2. Principles of handling bleeding injuries in skin are fast, early and thorough. Small wounds without significant contamination should be patched by band-aids immediately. If the wound is small, a clean bandage will reduce bleeding and pollution. Afterwards, an immediate debridement in hospital within 6-8 hours is suggested.
3. For superficial burn, the burn ointment is best for treatment. Otherwise, appropriate amounts of soybean oil, sesame oil, soy sauce and cucumber juice could also prevent blisters and infection. Applying some vinegar will release skin pain if there is. Once there are large blisters, sterile syringes could be puncture blisters for suction out exudate and gentian violet could reduce the oozing to prevent infection to abraded skin. To those larger or facial burn hurts, should be treated in hospitals quickly without any arbitrary processing.
4. For infective wounds, besides debridement and disinfection, taking some antibiotics when necessary will also be helpful to control the wounds.
