June 26th, the International Conference for Bioeconomy 2011, organized by Ministry of Science and Technology, was held in Meijiang Convention & Exhibition Center, Tianjin. Member of CPC Central Committee and State Councilor Liu Yandong, as well as Vice Head of National People’s Congress Standing Committee Sang Guowei, attended the meeting.
Liu and Sang visited the booth of CNBG. After the introduction of development, contribution and social responsibility made by Dong Hui, deputy general manager of CNBG, Liu cordially shook hands with Dong, "The work makes sense! The enterprise is very important!" she told her companies.
With the commission from Biotechnology Centre of Ministry of Science and Technology, CNBG hosted the biotechnology session of the conference. Deputy general manager Dong, Xiao Qiyou, deputy general manager of marketing center as well as Zhang Aihua, deputy director of R&D management center, led and guided the process. The R&D management center of CNBG took charge of the organization, registration and promotion of the biotechnology session, invited 14 authoritative experts at home and abroad and 57 professionals from Tiantan Bio and NVSI to attend. The discussions focused on the themes on the latest progress and trends in the fields of pharmaceutical biotechnology industry, such as recombinant protein drugs, antibodies, vaccines, biomedical materials, stem cells, tissue engineering and diagnostic reagents, etc.. On behalf of the Group, CNBG united with Accord Pharm participated in the exhibition with booth area of 315 square meters, which was the largest in this exhibition. The booth displayed overall strength and image of CNBG, with the showcase of 200 more than kinds of products including preventive preparations, treatment products and diagnostic, as well as an illustration showing the history, organization structure, capacity, R&D, marketing services, culture and philosophy of the company.
Those highlights, such as clinical research and progress of EV71 vaccine, cooperation with the Gates Foundation, attracted a lot of interests.
The exhibition contributed a good publicity to promote the brand image and expand market share of CNBG. [CNBG Submits]
