A study, conducted in American geriatric research centre and neural science laboratory in Baltimore, proved that it can stimulate BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor) in the rat brain increasing to limiting the food intake and intermittent fasting. According to the study, BDNF can improve nerve cells resistant to natural aging, enhance recovery capabilities.
