On September 3, 2012, the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association (CPA) officially initiated the “Chinese pharmaceutical industry policy research” project in Beijing. Vice chairman of the standing committee of the national people's congress, chairman of the CPA, academician Sang Guowei attended the meeting and delivered opening speech. Vice minister of health Ma Xiaowei, deputy director of the Health Bureau of the PLA General Logistics Department Fang Guoen, vice director of State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine Ma Jianzhong, deputy commissioner of SFDA Bian Zhenjia and Sun Xianze, board secretary of Sinopharm and director of Policy Research Office Shi Shengyi and deputy director Li Xiangrong participated the event.
The aim of the “Chinese pharmaceutical industry policy research” project is to study, under the current situation, how to make and improve pharmaceutical industrial policy and promote the structural adjustment of the pharmaceutical industry transformation, upgrading and sustainable development, in order to better protect and promote the health of the public as well as advance China's economic development and social progress. Sang Guowei is served as chairman of the Expert Steering Committee of the Project. Shi Shengyi, Shen Xinliang from Sinopharm along with other more than 30 experts are engaged as the members of the Expert Steering Committee of the Project. [Policy Research Office Submits]
