‘Action now, for our brothers and sisters!’ This has become the most touching scene shown on 2010 Chinese New Year Celebration of Sinopharm Northwest Company. Staffs made generous donations and gathered 8466 Yuan fund in total, after which they all signed their names on the banner shown ‘Poverty Relief For Harmony’. Till then, the Poverty Relief Fund of Sinopharm Northwest was officially established.
All the fund come from company appropriation, labour-union expenditure and staff donations, aiming to help the poor who’s having severe diseases and going through difficulties after sudden misfortune of their families. The fund is managed by the labour-union, and they are in charge of determination of the target group, scope, standard, application, approval and utilizing procedures. A annual report will be made to show the personnel the income and expenses of the fund, to ensure the management of the fund to meet the principle of democracy, transparency, fairness and justice.
